Memorial Day Weekend

It was a great weekend as Edie enjoyed her first Memorial Day weekend. G-Ma & G-Pa were in town from Appleton, WI. so there was tons of fun to be had over the few days. Saturday, the adults did some "home improvement" projects, while we took turns spending time with "Ms. 4 months."

Edie playing in the backyard with a new toy.

This was a banner weekend for Edie as she enjoyed regular servings of rice cereal and seemed to sleep a bit better. Edie still wakes up at night but feeds for less time.

"Action Shots"

On Sunday, we had a professional photographer meet us at a local park for some family shots. The numerous pics will be available within 3 weeks, but below are some "teasers."

Wonderful Edie

Edie went to the doctor on Wednesday, and has been given the green light to start eating rice cereal. Enjoy the first time she eats more than mama's milk.

One Busy Weekend

This past weekend was pretty busy. We didn't have many plans so we were able to spend time around the house. Danielle did have a women's conference Saturday morning, so that meant Edie & Dad were able to kick the weekend off with some good family time. Nothing better than getting a handful of crap during a diaper change, and then watching your daughter kick it all over her changing table, then taking another crap in her PJ's with a loose fitting diaper projecting the flow up her back and pouring out into her PJ's when you try moving her out of the battle zone....ahhh memories. All that fun gave us the chance for Dad Daughter Bath Time.

Edie can hold her head up pretty good lately!

Saturday, after spending some time in the yard...I needed to go for a cruise, so we took TWO cars up to Sonic for milkshakes. Two cars, since the '55 does not have seat belts, and we must keep Princess Poop safe. Once we arrived, we all got in the '55 and ordered...and enjoyed the car-hop bringing us our delicious treats.

Sunday morning, Danielle had to work at Guest Services at church, so that meant more D(ad) & E(die) time...Mom dressed her, but Dad lost the baby in the jungle gym. If you can find her, let us now!

Time for dinner now...enjoy your week.

Mother's Day Weekend

This is the first MOTHER's DAY for Danielle, and we needed to celebrate it right. Since we will be seeing other mothers on Sunday, we, actually Edie, decided to celebrate Friday night. Edie ordered an ice cream cake, since that what mom wanted, and we had burgers on the grill. After dinner, Edie gave us another gift...click play to see the gift!
